The season premiere of America’s Got Talent on NBC garnered a 1.4 rating in the key 18-49 demo, down 3/10ths of a point from last year. However, it’s 9.81 million viewers is up a little bit compared to 2019 (9.75 million). Which means the AGT audience aged year to year.
It was followed by the season premiere of World of Dance which nabbed a 1.0 in the demo and 5.15 million viewers. The ratings are down 4/10ths of a point from it’s season 3 debut in February 2019.
While the Tuesday premiere of America’s Got Talent posted the smallest 18-49 rating for a season opener in the show’s history, it still won the night for NBC.
