Growing up the group members watched Bollywood movies and copied the moves. They had no support from their parents or families as they wanted them to do something big like studying to become a doctor. One member remarked about dancing, “If someone asks you to leave something you love, it really hurts.” The group members shared with the judges they have been dancing together since 2018 and practicing five years for AGT.

The crew members’ faces were painted black and white, almost like skeletons. Unreal begins the routine employing contortion as spooky music plays. Everything is super in sync with the music, It’s a unique blend of dance and contortion. Truly fascinating, they are the dance crew to watch this season. Unreal is reminiscent of Mayyas and Murmuration, two dance crews who brought something unique to the show with their synchronized, geometric dances.

Howie Mandel said “You deserve everything” before hitting the Golden Buzzer for Unreal

The crowd and judges stood and applauded. Simon Cowell said, “I’m slightly speechless if I’m being honest with you,” noting the work they put into the routine. Sofia Vergara called it a “perfect audition,” adding that “it was one of the best shows we’ve seen this season.” Howie remarked, “We’ve seen dance crews, we’ve seen contortions, but to put it all together in a way we’ve never seen before […] was amazing”. He then added, “You deserve everything,” before pressing his Golden Buzzer. After joining the group on stage, Howie called Unreal hls it his “favorite act of season 20”.

Unreal deserved the Golden Buzzer for one of the best auditions of the season. A few other acts stood out on Tuesday night like kid singer Evelyn Errante who nailed her rendition of “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, and Darien Johnson & Scott Mathison surprised by taking weight lifting to the next level with a thrilling audition. Hopefully, auditions end on a high note next week.
