America’s Got Talent 2017 Finale Poll Results and Predictions

And certainly not least of all, one of the Top 10 acts will be crowned the $1 million dollar winner. Which will it be? Here are the results from last night’s polls. Far and away, kid ventriloquist Darci Lynne is the favorite act as well as the act predicted to win. Kid singer, Angelica Hale comes in a distant second in both polls. The rest aren’t really statistically significant.

Last night on the red carpet, AGT judge and producer, Simon Cowell, shared his Top 3 acts with ex-gal pal Terri Seymour from Extra, “Darci, Preacher and Light Balance… I don’t think it will be a singer this year. I could be wrong, but whoever it is, I will genuinely be happy.” So there you have it.

I think it’s a pretty safe bet that Darci will win. But the rest of the Top 5? I’ll take a stab at predicting the order here.

4. Light Balance
5. Evie Clair

Mandy Harvey didn’t perform at her best last night, but the combo of her talent with a compelling backstory and judge pimpage could land her near the top. Angelica Hale is the dark horse here. Producers gave her an early slot last night, but I don’t think it matters. This young singer has a fanbase. Light Balance has been promoted pretty heavily by the judges, so I’m placing them in 4th place. However, I wouldn’t be shocked if they fell out of the Top 5. What looks spectacular live doesn’t translate so well on television. And Evie Clair delivered a personal best performance set against heartbreaking circumstances–the death of her father. I’m giving her the fifth spot. Preacher Lawson’s routine last night, which detailed an encounter with a drug addict, was confusing and not funny. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think he’ll nab a stop spot.
