The America’s Got Talent 2023 LIVE Results kick off tonight. Eleven acts performed Monday night, only TWO will advance based on America’s Vote. The judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have no say in the outcome. Terry Crews hosts.

America’s Got Talent 2023 Recap: Qualifiers 1 (Live Blog)
Craig Robinson introduces Terry
Actor Craig Robinson opens the show sitting at the piano playing “A Thousand Miles” as Terry Crews makes his way to the stage. Craig joins Terry on stage to introduce the show. And of course, the time wasting recap of last night’s show.
Terry kicks off the eliminations
Terry will reveal the Top 5.
Ray Wold and Brynn Cummings step forward. One is still in the competition, one heads home. The first act in the Top 5 is Brynn Cummings. Ray Wold and his mom go home.
Next, John Wines and Olexandr and Magic Innovations take the stage. The second act in the Top 5 is Olexandr and Magic Innovations. John Wines is eliminated.
Lambros Garcia and Lavender Darcangelo step forward. One is still in it, the other is heading home. Lavender Darcangelo is in the Top 5, Lambros Garcia is eliminated. Lambros seemed to know he was toast. Simon comments that America almost always get it right, as they have here with the results so far.
Now, Mitch Rossell and True Villains step forward. And Mitch Rossell is still in the competition. True Villains are eliminated.
Next, Sainted, Maureen Langdon and Adrian & Hurricane step forward. Only ONE is going through to the Top 5. Adrian & Hurricane are safe. Sainted and Maureen Langdon are eliminated. Simon teases that one act that was eliminated he really wanted to advance. But he won’t say which one. Hm. Probably fire act Ray and his mama, which Simon raved about last night.
AGT Alums perform
First, it’s a clip promoting AGT Superstars Live, the permanent Las Vegas Residency featuring AGT alums.
Then five acts from the show perform a “mashup.” Aidan Bryant and Kodi Lee take the stage first. Kodi sings his signature cover, “Song For You,” while Adrian works a hoop. Next it’s Pack Drumline doing their thing. And believe it or not, the joke act Human Fountains are performing in Vegas. Heidi joins them on stage. She quirts a big blob of water onto one of the fountain’s faces. Gross. She ducks when the dude tries to return the favor. Light Balance ends the medley of acts with a spirited dance.
Terry reveals the Top 3 before unveiling the Top 2 moving on to the finale
America has voted. The first act in the top 3 is…Lavender Darcangelo, Mitch Rossell and Adrian & Hurricane. Brynn Cummings and Olexandr and Magic Innovations are eliminated.
The US Army has a sponsorship deal with NBC, and the last five minutes of the show is one big long commercial for the military.
The moment of truth. The TWO acts moving on to the finale are revealed. America has voted. The first act going into the finals is…Lavender Darcangelo and the second act going into the finals is…Adrian & Hurricane! Our prediction was CORRECT.
