Not only are there new judges, but fresh new talent as well. The first look reveals the usual assortment of kiddie acts, tug-at-your-heartstrings contestants, big dance groups, danger acts, acrobats, crazy joke acts and more.
You can’t put an age limit on someone who’s talented,” states Simon. And Howie teases, “There is a golden buzzer this year that will drop your draw!” Each of the judges and new AGT host, Terry Crews get to advance an act through to the live rounds. Hm. There’s a clip of Simon pushin Julianne’s buzzer. I wonder what’s up with that?
“Being part of AGT is such an honor,” gushes Julianne. “I want to be a part of making dreams come true,” insists Gabrielle. Simon SWEARS that the judge don’t know who is coming on stage in advance. “The truth is,” he says, “We don’t know who they are until they audition in front of us!”
AGT is the most inclusive talent show on television, the Julianne claims. And to prove it, there is a a young violinist admitting that he wanted to audition because he was bullied in school. There’s a blind singer, and a young piano player who is both blind And autistic. “These are people that you would not see on TV,” says Terry.
“Two minutes could change your life forever,” concludes Simon.
