Phillip Phillips announced on Tuesday (Nov 2) that he’s going out on tour with Jon Foreman next year. The American Idol season 11 winner posted a joint announcement on social media.
“I’m going on tour with @jonforeman this coming January and February,” Phillip wrote alongside a fun video. “Check out my website for a full list of dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 11/5 @ 10am local time. Hope to see you out there!”
The clip features both Phillip and Jon ribbing each other about who has the better website. “Check out my website, it’s much cooler than his!” Phillip declares, adding, “Don’t listen to him! My Website!” In any case, the schedule can be found at PhillipPhillips.com

Jon Foreman is a founding member of the pop/Christian rock band Switchfoot. A few weeks ago, Phillip hopped on TikTok to post a cover of a Switchfoot tune, “Only Hope,” which he noted was one of his wife Hannah’s favorites.
In the comments, Jon wrote, “Bro–so good! I think we need to play a few shows together! Who’s with me?” Phillip responds, “Let’s do it!” Of course, 25 city tours don’t come together in two weeks. But the two chose a clever way to tease the impending announcement.
Phillip has kept a low profile after the arrival of his son Patch in 2019. Although, he did play a handful of concert dates this year. The 25 date tour will be his longest tour since before the COVID-19 pandemic shut touring down,. The singer released his third album, Collateral in 2018.
The tour kicks off on January 12 in Clearwater Florida and runs through Feb. 10 in San Diego.
