How sweet! American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips posted happy news on social media. He and wife Hannah are expecting a baby boy.
The couple posed for a photo, with a baby onesie strategically placed between them, emblazoned with the word “Gentleman.” A sonogram of baby boy Phillips completes the picture. “Phillip and Hannah sittin’ in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!,” writes Phillip on Twitter. “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage this fall!”
He caps off the tweet with the hashtag “#P^3”. Does that mean the couple are will name the baby Phillip Phillips Phillips? Heh. Wouldn’t that be funny… Or not! Ha.

Phillip Phillips and Hannah Blackwell were married in October 2015. “I’m so excited,” said Phillip at the time, “What I love most about her is she’s my best friend and I can tell her anything. I just love her.” Hannah added: “I feel like when I met Phillip, he was the answer to so many questions that I had. He just makes everything make sense for me.”
Phillip met Hannah at an event for his sister’s charity organization Mission Change around 2009 or 2010. He won the American Idol crown in 2012.
The singer hits the road this summer, beginning on July 8 at the Cincinnati Reds Rockin 150 Birthday Bash. He’ll also be performing in Houston, Texas at the Space Center on July 20 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Additionally, Phillip will play Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on August 10. See the full tour schedule HERE.
