Scotty McCreery hopes to release an album, which he says is going really really well, by September or October. He’s not sure when his music video will be released. Lauren’s mom is his temporary custodian on the tour!
Lauren Alaina also has a nasty knot in her head, in addition to the sprained ankle from her recent fall. She’s excited about her “Like My Mother Does” music video. Her mom makes a cameo. The video also features photos and film of Lauren when she was a little girl.
Haley Reinhart can’t really talk about whether she’s signed or not. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say anything. I’m going to be saying whatever I have to say pretty soon. I just don’t know if I can or not. Things are hopefully working out pretty well.”
James Durbin shows off his new hand tattoo.
Jacob Lusk was pranked bad by the other guys in Salt Lake City. His retaliation may or may not involve toothpaste and dye. He thought of singing “A House is Not a Home” on tour, but they decided it was not good for a stadium tour. He seems happy with his songs. On his album, he wants to do “God Bless the Child” and a duet with a big R&B artist.

Stefano Langone is working to establish himself as one of the better performers. He anticipates people from the industry will be in the LA audience, so he wants to make sure that he stays consistent. He wants to create a buzz. The songs weren’t the tunes he would have picked for himself. He wanted to sing Stevie Wonder, Santana. Playing piano was his idea.
Paul McDonald bought some Native American inspired jewelry before the interview. He nearly lost his beard in a grilling mishap. He had to be at tour rehearsals whether he sang or not. Lots of waiting around. It gave him more opportunity to write. He and Nikki want to live in both LA and Nashville.
Pia Toscano did her 1st video shoot the day before the LA show. They did shots, at the beach, in downtown LA. It’s very true to the lyric, she says. She had to do a little acting.
Naima Adedapo got Jennifer Lopez’s blessing to sing “On The Floor”. She would love Jlo to see her perform. It would have been cool to have one more song, but otherwise, she likes the format. It’s been hard to be without her family.
Thia Megia loves to ride the bus. The vibrations helps her fall asleep.
