Adam Lambert Performs Spirit Day “What’s Up/Livin’ On A Prayer” Mashup (VIDEO)

On Wednesday night (Oct. 18), GLAAD board member and songwriter Justin Tranter helped to kick off Oct 19th’s with a celebratory concert in Los Angeles. The event featured performances, including from Courtney Love, Hailee Steinfeld, and American Idol alum Adam Lambert.

Pledging to “go purple” on Spirit Day, October is a way for everyone — forward-thinking companies, global leaders, respected celebrities, neighbors, parents, classmates, and friends — to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to take part in the largest, most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world. In the meantime, Watch Adam perform a medley of 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” and “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi onstage at the Justin Tranter and GLAAD Present ‘Believer’ Spirit Day Concert.

Starting November 1, Adam will be back out on the road as front man for Queen as the band heads across Europe, followed by New Zealand and Australia. Check out their schedule HERE.
