Stand By Me Harry!
When a hopeful announces that he’s singing the classic song “Stand By Me,” Harry quips, “No, I have to sit here!” The singer snarks back, “NO GET OVER HERE!” and Harry does, grooving along with the song. Hilarity ensues. As you probably already guessed. “You missed a beat,” observes Harry, “NOW I HAVE TO DANCE LIKE A WHITE GUY.” Hee.
Simon and the Tumbling Tumbleweeds.
Sporting a cowboy hat and a plaid shirt, Simon is like something out of central casting. Keith sings along as the hopeful twangs his way through a country ditty. “I love country music!” enthuses Jlo, “It’s my favorite!” Riiiight.
A Victory Selfie
Elissa makes Ryan Seacrest promise that if she nabs that golden ticket, he’ll take a selfie with her. Her version of “No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame probably got her a golden ticket and that selfie. But you’ll have to wait until Thursday to find out.
The Opportunity of a Lifetime
Tyler traveled all the way from Burlington, VT to sing “Set Fire to the Rain” for the judges.
