American Idol Sunday Ratings Stay Steady as Voting Begins

American Idol Sunday ratings are staying the course. The first night of Top 24 Solos and Duets (with voting!) earned the series a 0.75 in the key 18-49 demo, and 5.3 million overall viewers.

Without basketball on the CBS schedule, American Idol ratings resumed the top spot in the key demo for ABC. However, 60 Minutes had the most overall viewers for CBS, earning a 0.5 in the key demo and 7.3 million viewers overall. The second most watched show was CBS’ The Equalizer, with 6.7 million viewers and 0.6 rating in the key demo. NCIS: Los Angeles came in third for overall viewers with 5.4 million.
