TV Line has The Top 10 song spoilers Thursday’s (3/3) telecast. The theme is “Grammy Winning Songs From Past and Present.”
Two contestants will be eliminated. Only the surviving eight singers will have the opportunity to perform.
Check out the song list below.
La’Porsha Renae — Halo by Beyonce – The song is a overdone on singing competitions, but La’Porsha has the talent to make fans forget all the others.
MacKenzie Bourg — I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston – Whatever he does to flip this song, I’m just hoping he doesn’t transform it into a snooze fest.
Tristan McIntosh — Go Rest High on That Mountain by Vince Gill – If she settles down at the mic or plays piano, Tristan could bring back some of the luster she’s lost over the past few weeks.
Trent Harmon — When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge – Another overdone song, but I’ll give Trent the benefit of the doubt. He’s a passionate performer–he could pull it off.
Olivia Rox — Trouble by Pink – This is an odd song choice. There are Pink songs that would be a good fit for Olivia. I’m not sure “Trouble” is in that category. Also, It peaked at No. 68 on the Hot 100 in 2003. It’s not one of Pink’s big hits.
Gianna Isabella — If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys – Zzzzzzzz.
Sonika Vaid — Since You Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson – Uhhhh. Really? I hope Sonika’s momentum isn’t reversed this week. Maybe she’ll sing it as a ballad.
Dalton Rapattoni — Radioactive by Imagine Dragons – Not a big risk for Dalton. He should at least maintain the status quo with this song choice.
Avalon Young — Earned It by The Weeknd – Now, that’s what I’m talking about.
Lee Jean — Use Somebody by Kings of Leon – This song is potentially too big for Lee’s fragile vocals. Maybe he’ll surprise me.
So what do you think of the choices?
Demi Lovato and Harry Connick Jr. are also set to perform.
