If you were looking forward to watching the Glee kids audition one more time for West Side Story in Tuesday’s “I Am Unicorn” encore, you’ll have to wait.
FOX has decided to repeat Sunday’s American Idol San Diego auditions in Glee’s time slot on Tuesday at 8/7c.
With Glee on a mini-hiatus, it works out perfect for FOX. Folks who didn’t set their DVRs with at least an hour of extra time, or those who just gave up and went to bed before Idol’s 11 pm start time last night have another chance.
The Idol repeat will probably do better ratings-wise than an old Glee, so it’s win-win.
Sunday’s special post-football airing of American Idol scored a 7.9 adults 18-49 rating and 19.8 million viewers in time zone adjusted numbers from Fox. (More ratings stuff)
