It was an American Idol reunion when Katharine McPhee dropped by Live with Kelly & Ryan on Monday (Nov 27) to perform a song off her her new set of standards, I Fall In Love Too Easily.
Live co-host Ryan Seacrest met Katharine in 2006 when he hosted American Idol and she came in second to Taylor Hicks on season 5. And see the piano player Ryan high fived on his way out to greet Katharine after her performance? That’s Michael Orland who served as a musical director throughout Idol’s run on FOX. Katharine is especially close to Michael as her mother, Peisha, worked on the show as a vocal coach.
