American Idol Ratings Win The Night, Lower than Average

Via Zap2it.com:

American Idol’s Top 8 boys carried the 9 pm time slot last night, but with ratings that were lower than average. Check out the deets here:

9 p.m.

FOX: “American Idol” (20.5 million, 11.7/19)
CBS: “Criminal Minds” (13.1 million, 8.1/13)
ABC: “Modern Family” (8.95 million, 5.5/9)/”Cougar Town” (6.15 million, 3.9/6)
NBC: “Law & Order: SVU” rerun (5.4 million, 3.6/6)
The CW: “America’s Next Top Model” (3.3 million, 2.2/4)/”High Society” premiere (1.4 million, 1.0/2)

The 9 pm timeslot may have contributed to the lower numbers. We’ll see how things shake out when Idol settles in to it’s regular schedule once the Top 12 begins.
