American Idol Ratings Down 13% From Last Week

Last night’s ratings are in from TVBytheNumbers:

On the eve of Good Friday (and Earth Day) ABC and CBS were in repeats. Of course Fox would’ve easily won the night regardless with an hour of American Idol that scored a 5.6/18 adults 18-49 rating and an hour of Bones that featured a backdoor pilot for “The Finder, ” that garnered a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating. I speculate whether “The Finder” is a keeper probably doesn’t have a lot to do with the ratings. American Idol was down 13% from last week and Bones was down 9%, but look for Idol to be adjusted up a couple of tenths in the final numbers and Bones to be adjusted down due to the overrun.

An average of 19.62 viewers tuned in to watch the elimination of Stefano Langone on American Idol last night.
