Watch Lee DeWyze perform his haunting new song “Paranoia” from the Ohio State Reformatory Prison Chapel. This 130 year old prison was the the filming location of the movie Shawshank Redemption.
Lee performed “Paranoia” live during a Facebook Live session, along with another new song, “Let Go.”
The Ohio State Reformatory, which is now a learning and tourist center, promoted the live event on their twitter page, along with retweets of the performances.
Lee DeWyze performing in the OSR Chapel today was raw and amazing. We hope to see him connect with us again soon! #music #ohiolove https://t.co/wvGenF8wjs

Check out the lyrics.
PARANOIA
The Paranoia sinking in
From another bad line of questioning
Feed the fiery walls we build around
There’s not enough water to put them out
Breath Now
Breath Out
From the ashes rise a hollow friend
Which lets you know that there is an end
What made you think that you were safe
From the billowing smoke of this resting place
Breath Now
Breath Out
Remember we cried ourselves to sleep
We prayed we prayed our souls to keep
And I’m sorry now that I can’t stay
So I’ll close my eyes until goes away
Breath Now
Breath Out
Breath Now
Breath Out
The Paranoia sinking in
From another bad line of questioning
Feed the fiery walls we build around
There’s not enough water to put them out
