American Idol Inducted Into the B&C Hall of Fame 2011 – VIDEO

American Idol was inducted into the Broadcast and Cable Hall of Fame on Tuesday October 26. The event, co-hosted by Piers Morgan and Nancy O’Dell, also inducted Betty White, Johnson & Johnson and a slate of news people and industry executives.

Fox alternative entertainment president Mike Darnell accepted the award on behalf of American Idol to end the evening’s festivities.  He thanked the show’s producers and Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina, who was in attendance.

Broadcast and Cable posted the tribute video that ran during the ceremony. And now, for your viewing  (and dissecting!) pleasure here it is. Several of your favorite Idols are featured, including all the winners in a sweet montage at the end of the clip.
