Hundreds turn out for ‘American Idol’ auditions in Annapolis – How did Crofton resident Molly Sinnott make it to the front of the line at the “American Idol” auditions Tuesday morning in Annapolis? Some hopefuls camped out in nearby parking lots; some started lining up at 4 a.m. But Sinnott, a 2015 Yale University graduate, earned her spot as No. 1. She auditioned six years ago for the American Idol Experience at Disney World and won. David Archuleta to perform in Manila next month – Bookmark October 20 because American Idol season seven alum David Archuleta is confirmed he’s coming to perform at the KIA Theater in Cubao, Metro Manila. Gaylord’s Duski heads to Michigan for fall tour – Lauren Duski is coming to Michigan this month. The singer-songwriter who took second place this year in NBC’s “The Voice,” lives in Nashville, calls Gaylord her hometown and has a list of shows scheduled for September and October with several in the Great Lakes State. “I’m super excited to get on the road and start playing songs that no one has ever heard,” Duski said. She said this will be her first time playing with a full band, contrary to her typical acoustic style. Since “The Voice” ended in May, Duski wasted no time in getting to work by songwriting each day and creating 10 new songs she said she is excited to share. – Read more at Gaylord Herald Times
