American Idol season 8 alum, Danny Gokey, and his wife Leyicet have welcomed their third child.
“IT’S A BOY!!!! Gabriel Daniel Gokey!! 8lbs 8oz.” Danny wrote on an Instagram post announcing the baby’s birth. He then goes on to explain the seemingly odd photo: “This picture may seem funny but our baby came just in time for me to see him be born, hold him and love him and then I had to run and catch a flight. The thing is, I forgot to get a picture of me, him and my wife @leyicet together. So I called back on FaceTime to get this sweet pic!! I can’t wait to get back home tomorrow to hold him even more. So thankful I got to be with him at birth!!”
At first glance it looked like Danny missed the momentous moment. But not to worry. He just forgot to take a snap! The latest little Gokey joins his siblings Victoria Isabella, 2½, and Daniel Emanuel, 4½. Congrats all around.
