After the American Idol winner and runner-up, Maddie Poppe and Caleb Lee Hutchinson respectively, performed on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the show held an online concert to decide which Top 7 contestant to invite next.
Drumroll…the winner is…Top 5 finalist Cade Foehner. The singer performed “No Good” by Kaleo, the song he chose to play during the Top 50 showcase round.
Afterward, Cade talked about dating 3rd place finisher Gabby Barrett, the importance of his hometown hair stylist, and his winner’s single “Breathe Out.”
Aside: Speaking of his gal pal Gabby–I think Kelly & Ryan producers should have gone right ahead and invited her to perform on the show instead of conducting a random online poll. She earned it, right? But maybe that’s just me.
