BTS, who has taken social media by storm, has their first number one on the BB200 chartww. They are the first K-Pop act to ever top the chart. They sold 135K equivalent albums – 100K in traditional album sales. The next two debuts on the chart are Lil Baby (3) and Five Finger Death Punch (4) which are two names that seem incongruous next to each other.
The Greatest Showman featuring The Voice’s Loren Allred is 6th on the chart with 44K in equivalent sales (-17%).
No numbers for Trent yet, but hopefully some will be released today. Memorial Day Weekend can impact schedules.
