American Idol’s rock star a proud Texan – Foehner said he has “high hopes” that all seven contestants will remain like family despite being stuck on a bus together for three months. He added that he also enjoyed a friendship with San Antonio native Adam Sanders, the alter-ego of Ada Vox, “American Idol’s first drag queen finalist. Ada Vox was a Top 10 contestant before being voted off the show in late April. “(Sanders) is just a great guy, and I enjoyed being around him,” Foehner said. “He’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.” After the tour, Foehner hopes to release his own EP or album.
