American Idol season 19 premieres in THREE WEEKS! ABC kicks off the new season on Sunday, February 14, Valentines Day, to be exact. Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, host Ryan Seacrest and mentor Bobby Bones are back to help even more talent make their dreams come true.
And to get ready for the new season, American Idol has launched a series of new promos which features a bunch of hopefuls. Check out the first promo, starring quotes from legendary musicians like David Bowie and Ray Charles HERE.
This new promo is a variation on the quotes from music geniuses. The clip uses the same quotes, but featuring a few new hopefuls, so worth taking a look. There is even more CRYING in this promo. For instance, Katy says to a hopeful, “They hear your story and they say I feel lived to see another day.”
And in a promo featuring host Ryan Seacrest, he shares that he loves when a contestant goes in to see the judges and comes out with a golden ticket. “It changes people’s lives and I look forward to that every year.” This is coming from the only cast member who has been with the show since season one back in 2002. “No matter how tired you are,” says Ryan, “When that magic comes in the room, it brings all of us alive.”
