American Idol season 19 kicks off on Valentine’s day, Sunday February 14. That’s less that a month away. In the meantime, ABC has released a bunch of new promos which feature quotes from legendary music artists of the past.

Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, host Ryan Seacrest and mentor Bobby Bones are all back for a brand new season.
The judges and hopefuls are as emotional as ever! Besides cool musical genius quotes, there is SO MUCH CRYING in the promo. I captured the spot ABC aired during Monday night’s The Bachelor, but there are even more to be found at People magazine. The website has two more promos and a new photo that features Lionel, Katy, Luke, Ryan and Bobby.

American Idol filmed auditions this past fall 2020 in various locations in California. The Hollywood Round took place in December. With COVID-19 keeping out family and friends, and the crew skeletal, spoilers have been hard to come by.
