It’s here! A first look at the upcoming season of American Idol! Season 17 premieres on Sunday March 3 and Monday March 4 at 8 PM on ABC.

Host Ryan Seacrest introduced the new clip live from New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square. He SWEARS after 17 seasons of helming the series, the talent in 2019 is the greatest ever! Ha ha. Werk it Ryan.

In this brand new sneak peek, fans finally get a good look at the new talent. No singing yet, but the clip features plenty of new faces. And so much crying. SO MUCH CRYING. Hopefuls are crying. Their parents are crying. THEIR FRIENDS ARE CRYING. Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan, are all returning to the iconic competition reality show. And also? Crying–at one time or another.
