American Idol 2019 – Alejandro Aranda Performs Original “Out Loud” (VIDEO)

Are you ready for a brand new American Idol contestant preview? Here is a good one. Twenty four year old Alejandro Aranda is a dishwasher from Pomona, California who performs with a mesmerizing Latin/folk vibe. Check out that impressive guitar work. Apparently, Alejandro has only been playing music for four years.

During his audition, the singer performed an original song titled “Out Loud” which was originally billed under Scary Pool Party. Check out more information about Alejandro HERE. Five of Five Entertainment and California State University dubbed him Artist of the Year in 2017.

Aranda draws inspiration from several different artists such as John Martyn, Nine-Inch Nails and Dead can Dance. Aranda became inspired to create music when he saw a band called, Backtrack, and seeing that music can create powerful emotions that can change a person’s life.

Following Alejandro’s performance, judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan were full of effusive praise. “You my friend, are so talented. I am so inspired,” said Lionel. “I just feel like I’m in the presence of greatness,” said Luke. “I am so glad you are here. It was like watching my favorite movie that I did not want to end.” Katy said, “I think you’re really special. I think you’re an absolute genius.” Lionel assured Alejandro, “You have such a career. And the fact that you don’t know it makes it even more special. There’s nothing like you my friend.”

TAKE NOTE: The second night of American Idol 2019 auditions air on a special night. Wednesday, March 6 at 8 pm on ABC. Next week, the show settles into its regular time slot–Sundays and Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT.
