The following week, on Wednesday, Feb. 24 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT), the judges will announce the first eight semi-finalists to make it into the Top 10, leaving six to sing for America’s vote and the final two spots in this farewell season’s Top 10.

On the first LIVE show of the season, Thursday, Feb. 25 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), host Ryan Seacrest will reveal America’s vote and announce the final two joining the Top 10. For the first time, the Top 10 finalists will perform for America’s vote. Also, original IDOL Kelly Clarkson will return to guest judge and perform.

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 24, viewers at home will have five ways to vote for their favorite singer, including voting online at AmericanIdol.com; via the FOX NOW App; via Google Search; via text messaging; and via toll-free calling when the IDOL vote window opens. All voting rules and frequently asked questions will be available beginning Wednesday, Feb. 24, on americanidol.com. (Surprised Idol isn’t ditching phone and text voting as The Voice did last season)
