American Idol 13 Audition Bus Back on the Road

The American Idol audition bus will be back on the road this summer, stopping at 5 cities. Last year’s inaugural bus tour visited 10 towns. I guess this year is the budget trip.

To be more precise, Idol should call it the Southern Audition Bus tour. Little Rock, AR, Oxford, MS, Tuscaloosa, AL, Knoxville TN and Chapel Hill, NC are the towns on the schedule.

Last year, the tour was touted as a “small town” tour, giving people living in out-of-the-way places a chance to audition. Maybe the turnout wasn’t cost effective, as the producers aimed for small cities this year.

What’s up with the Roman Numerals?
