Lauren Alaina sure has grown up since that 15 year old girl wowed the judges at her American Idol season 10 audition 2 years ago. The curly-haired singer crooned “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” with judge Steven Tyler and went on to take 2nd place in the competition.
Lauren is currently working on her sophomore album, and tonight on the American Idol results show, she performed her new single, “Barefoot and Buckwild” available at iTunes. The now 18 year-old singer was elegant in black and white, but the pink streaks in her hair was a reminder that she’s still just a kid.
