Burnell Taylor – “You Give Love A Bad Name” – Download at iTunes – Once again, Burnell gives it the old college try. But…No. Although, his recorded vocal sounds awesome in spots. He’s got to work on that weird phrasing, though. “Shot through the Hareeet” Hm.
Kree Harrison – “Piece of My Heart” – Download at iTunes – I am seriously considering downloading this performance. Kree vocals are buttery and bluesy, with just the right amount of grit to give her pleading vocals some urgency.
Janelle Arthur – “You May Be Right” – Download at iTunes – The song opens with the sound of broken glass. Janelle’s on a bender! Seriously. She sounds terrific. Great tone, a little yodel in the right places, a bit of a growl. She’s the real deal.
Lazaro Arbos – “We Are The Champions” – Download at iTunes – NO. NO. NO. NO.
Candice Glover – “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” – Download at iTunes – I’m going to say…this is still not one of my favorite performances from Candice. The problem here isn’t Candice. It’s the song, which doesn’t provide enough melody for the singer to play with.
Amber Holcomb – “What About Love” – Download at iTunes – Her tone is gorgeous, distinctive, with a beautiful vibrato. Nice.
Angela Miller – ”Bring Me To Life” – Download at iTunes – Girl’s got a recordable voice, that’s for sure. She needs her own songs.
