  1. Some of these people haven’t gotten a moment of screen time. Either they’re not going to make the top 24, or they’re being kept around as cannon fodder for the first sudden death elimination.

How could they not have shown us someone with a name like “Becca Boom”?

  2. The list…paints a clear picture of which hopefuls have gotten the most screentime.

Cool. You’re keeping track! Impressive and illuminating list- I see who we are supposed to regard as wallpaper. It will be interesting at the end to see if any of the ‘invisibles’ jump out, apply the WNTS measure of screen time and success, as read in Indecent Exposure, and have the “chicken or the egg” discussion. But that’s a long way down the road.

  3. I wonder why they haven’t shown Luke James Schaffer at all and mentioned that he made it so far last season. That’d be a good story. Obviously he doesn’t make it much farther, or else they just really hate him.

LOL at Becca Boom and a 2nd Erin Kelly for AI. At least we can always refer to the first as “high school student Aaron Kelly”.

I feel really, really bad for those that have yet to be shown. If I was one of those people, I would be livid. With a “sudden death” set up for semifinals, these people hardly stand a chance. (unless you’re Kelly Clarkson or Kris Allen. Ok, nevermind. But the luck is not in your favor.) We’re gonna be stuck with Chris Medinas and Jacee Badeauxs simply because people feel like they already know them.

  4. Symphony Music Howlett!? Seriously? Who gets the blame for that, her or her parents?

  5. I’m going out on a limb, but I see some major screwups and meltdowns coming next week. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ashley blew it again and she just gave up on the whole ordeal. For a lot of these “kids”, they’re seeing how hard it is. It’s constant going going going and work work work and rehearse rehearse. It’s like a marathon. For someone like Thia, it’s her calling, she’s been doing it since she was a baby. For some of the others straight off the farm, Vegas is either going to scare them to death or they’re going to be so fascinated, they stick with it. Good move by Nigel.

Proving for all to see that American Idol cannot count.

  7. OMG someone is namesd Symphony Music – I can’t even. LOL. Though tbh Symphony Orchestra would have made more sense ;-)

This is an awesome list of everyone! Thank you, MJ! Also, very clear who has gotten the most screentime, lol. Now I’m curious about the shock elimination, but I must exercise restraint! I’ll find out next Thursday, anyways.

  8. I wonder why they haven’t shown Luke James Schaffer at all and mentioned that he made it so far last season. That’d be a good story. Obviously he doesn’t make it much farther, or else they just really hate him.

I’m curious why he’s never really shown. Last year they showed his audition and I really liked him but then we never seen him again, I caught a background shot of him during the chair round but that’s about it. I wonder who he pissed off haha.

  9. Idol needs to update their records, Lauren Alaina turned 16 two weeks after her audition.

  10. Wow, this is an amazing list with links! Thank you for making it. I don’t even remember the names of the people who interest me, except Durbin and Clint. And I liked the guy who said “hey girl” in the group number. ;) Maybe next week will make things more memorable.

  11. Thanks MJ for the list with the pictures, because I really don’t know who’s who.

There are plenty of people that haven’t been featured at all. I need to make my own prediction based on the features.

I did not see season 1 from the beginning, but I thought that Kelly’s audition was shown and not retrospectively a la Kris Allen. Good thing he won, if not maybe we won’t ever seen that.

I’m excited for next week and they got to go to Vegas .Probably not many have been there before, so it would add to the excitement.

It wasn’t shown in the original run of the show, they added it when they did the idol rewind montage.
