American Idol Season 8 contestant, Allison Iraheta, updates her fans in her very own, inimitable way. Allison tweets:

I love the fact that Allison is a real teenager, without pretenses or pageant-bot affectations. Heh.
So, ya’ll know Jive records dropped her after her debut album failed to meet the label’s sales expectations. I feel confident things will eventually work out for Allison. It may take a few years, but I really think our uber-talented chica will eventually come into her own.
In celebration of the Awesome Allison, check out a performance of “Scars” from her debut album, “Just Like You”. She and her guitar player performed an acoustic version for KIIS LA’s Jo Jo almost a year ago. Ah. Memories!
