I got a tip on twitter about “I Love This Feeling”, the song that Alex Preston would have performed next week if he had advanced to the American Idol 13 Final Two.
In a conference call with reporters today (OK I asked this question), Alex revealed that Drew Pearson co-wrote the song. He couldn’t remember the name of the other songwriter, but it is likely Greg Holden.
Pearson/Holden were the songwriting duo responsible for Phillip Phillips’ smash coronation single, “Home”.
Alex isn’t sure whether “I Love This Feeling” will eventually be released to iTunes. He hopes so, because the song “is awesome.”
