Alex Preston’s Grandmother Died

Thoughts and prayers go out to American Idol season 13 alum, Alex Preston. His grandmother died this morning. The singer tweeted earlier today:

My Grandma passed this morning. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. I never even got to say goodbye. She was so proud of me.

It’s got to be really tough to experience a big loss while away from loved ones. Currently, Alex is touring with the Top 10 on the American Idol Live tour. Tonight they play the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis.
