After five weeks of auditions, the America’s Got Talent: The Champions finalists were chosen via a combination of Golden Buzzers and votes from viewers “hand picked” from all 50 states. Ten of those contestants, plus TWO wildcards performed during last night’s final performance episode.
Next week, we find out which act takes the America’s Got Talent: Champions crown. Who do you think it will be? I haven’t changed my mind since writing a powerlist ahead of last night’s show. I think Simon Cowell’s sentimental favorite, Susan Boyle, will take it all. He certainly set her up to win. She sang her audition song “I Dreamed a Dream” amid a gauzy nostalgia. People all over the world latched on to Susan’s story! But perhaps the current America’s Got Talent winner, Shin Lim will take it all.
