AGT: Champions Season 2 Spoilers: Contestant Results Leak! (WINNER!)

The guest performers will include KISS, Travis Barker (with finalist V. Unbeatable), Lindsey Stirling (with finalist the Silhouettes), Kodi Lee ( Current AGT winner), Shin Lim (AGT Season 13 winner and AGT: The Champions Season 1 winner) and Colin Cloud, Kseniya Simonova (with finalists Angelina Jordan and Tyler Butler Figueroa), and Modern Circus Mega Mix.

The America’s Got Talent: The Champions Season 2 Top 10 finalists are Alexa Lauenburger, Angelina Jordan, Boogie Storm, Duo Transcend, Hans, Marcelito Pomoy, Sandou Trio Russian Bar, The Silhouettes, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, and V. Unbeatable.

The show opens with legendary rock band KISS singing “I Wanna Rock n Roll All Night.” WHOOO LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!! They introduce host Terry Crews.  Kiss are on their very last tour ever called “End of the Road.” Ha. I’ll believe it when it actually happens.

Next, it’s a filler-ific recap of last week’s performances. The Superfans votes are in. All that’s left to do is announce the winner.

Back from break, and it’s a video package featuring the judges revealing their “desert island” items. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Ha ha. Hans has taken over for Terry Crews. I approve. He introduces the man of many muppety voices Marcelito Pomoy singing “We Are the Champions.” Boogie Storm fan out into the audience while Duo Transcend and Russian Trio Bar perform. It looks like a free for all of Top 10 finalists. That was pretty weird. It needed more Hans.

Next, it’s a video package featuring new judge Alesha Dixon. AGT begins taping March 2. The new panel will be announced very soon. Could she be joining the main show?

Now, it’s another video package featuring JJ Pantano. The 7 year old roasts the judges some more. Can we find out the winner now? It’s going to be a long two hours.

V. Unbeatable join Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker for a wild performance. It’s the usual dancing and tossing and flipping and acrobatics. But now with drumming! The routine ends with a kiddo flipping over Travis, grabbing his drumstick.

And now, a video package featuring Heidi Klum….ZZZzzzzzz.

Angelina Jordan, Tyler Butler-Figueroa and sand artist Kseniya Simonova perform “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi. Kseniya performs sand art in the background while Angelina sings and Tyler plays. The audience gives the trio a standing ovation.

Next, former America’s Got Talent contestant, violinist Lindsey Stirling performs with Silhouette. Lindsey didn’t make it far on the show, but now she sell a ton of records. Take that, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan, who were very mean to her. Silhouettes do the cool dog trick again.

Close up card magic master Shin Lim won the inaugural season of Champions. Now, he’s back to do more card tricks. BUT he joins forces with hypnotist Colin Cloud. Shin explains that he played the piano before he did magic. Now he’s going to add music to his act. Colin says, “Think of us as the Avengers of magic.” He hypnotises Alesha. Howie writes down a song on cardboard “Baby” by Beeber” (sic Howie can’t spell). The audience puts the song in Alesha’s head. And she guesses it! Then Shin takes over. He picks up a deck he didn’t touch the whole time and spells out Baby by Justin Bieber, along with his photo. It made her think of her child. A photo Simon had been clutching the whole time reveals a photo of Alesha’s kid!

Kodi Lee, winner of America’s Got Talent 2019 is next. Kodi explains that Simon signed him to his record label. That’s nice. Kodi sings Harry Styles hit “Sign of the Times.” Kodi says he feels GREAT returning to AGT as an artist than just a contestant.

RESULTS! Terry announces the TOP 5. The Superfans have spoken. Boogie Storm and Duo Transcend step forward.  Duo Transcend advance! Duh. Hans and V. Unbeatable step forward. Oh geez. The act taking the next spot in the Top 5 is…V. Unbeatable. Hans isn’t even mad. He knows he’s super lucky to make to so far. Hans gives Simon a hug goodbye. Alexa Leuenberger and Tyler Butler-Figuoa step forward. The act taking the spot in the Top 5 is…after the break! The act taking the next spot in the Top 5 is…Tyler Butler-Figueroa. Marcelito Pomoy and Angelina Jordin are next. The next act going into the Top 5 is…Marcelito Pomoy. Really? The muppet voiced Marcelito? Hm. Lastly, it’s Silhouettes and Sandou Trio Russian Bar

OMG. This show will never end. Now it’s time to reveal the winner. The act finishing in 5th places is…Sandou Trio Russian Bar.  Howie says they “upped their game” throughout the competition. And in 4th place is Marcelito Pomoy. Heidi calls his VOICES (plural) beautiful. And in 3rd place is…Tyler Butler-Figueroa. Tyler is happy to have gotten the opportunity to inspire. Alesha calls him a superstar and a “beautiful soul.”

Does winning the competition matter? There’s no prize. OK. Now, packages air for both finalists and the WINNER OF AGT:The Champions Season 2 is V. Unbeatable!

Top 5

5. Sandou Trio Russian Bar
4. Marcelito Pomoy
3. Tyler Butler-Figueroa
2. Duo Transcend

1. V. Unbeatable – WINNER

Geez. That was 30 minutes of results, other than a couple of good performances (Shin Lim/Colin Cloud, V. Unbeatable/Travis), that was a BORING finale. It didn’t help that the results were spoiled MONTHS ago. If Champions returns, Simon has to seriously think of adding some live shows. I have no doubt that the ratings for tonight’s show will be lower than Sunday’s American Idol premiere.

I’m glad the season is over. Now, on the The Voice season 18 next Monday!
