AGT: Fantasy League Qualifiers lineup includes more fan favorite acts

The new format from America’s Got Talent, AGT: Fantasy League continues on to week 2, airing on NBC Monday Jan 8. The eight week season features 40 acts chosen by viewers. Before the acts took the stage, the judges–Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Mel B. and Simon Cowell–took turns choosing their ‘dream team” members.

The winner of AGT: Fantasy League nabs a $250K prize. For more on how the format will work and the schedule, check out the link below.

AGT: Fantasy League: Schedule and Format, Details to Know!

The Qualifiers round lasts four weeks, with 10 acts competing each week. The studio audience votes for five acts to advance to the next round. Each judge gets a golden buzzer which they can use to advance their own team members, OR STEAL a fellow judge’s contestant! The Golden Buzzer act goes straight to the finale, bypassing the semi-final round.

AGT spoiled the teams on social media. Each act listed below includes which judges team they will be competing on. Heidi only had one of her team members competing last week. This week she has three. Mel appears to have amassed a bunch of the group acts.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League airs Mondays on NBC at 8 pm ET/PT.

Check out all of this week’s acts below.

NBC dropped a preview clip of the act’s performance. Watch it HERE. Adrian & Hurricane won America’s Got Talent season 18 this past summer. Adrian and his pupper are a cut above the typical dog act, as Adrian, from Italy, doesn’t appear to cue Hurricane with treats or commands. The adorable duo are back to defend their title.

When country singer Drake Milligan competed on AGT 17 in 2022, he came with a BMG record deal, and basically used the show to promote his new single and album. Now, Drake has a new single and EP coming out and is using the show in a similar manner. He just dropped a new song, and will release a new EP right before the February 19 finale.

Grace is a Nashville based hula hooping, fire dancing, and aerial acrobatic artist. A popular Tik Tok influencer, Grace was cut at the America’s Got Talent 18 Qualifiers round in 2023. Her act, which involves hula hoops, often incorporates fire and performing at great heights. She’s spectacular and should have advanced further in the competition last time.

Mersey Girls – Dance Group – Team Mel B. – BGT S11, BGT: THE CHAMPIONS

American audiences will be introduced to the Mersey Girls for the first time. The group were finalists on Britain’s Got Talent season 11 in 2017, where they got Alesha Dixon’s Golden Buzzer, and BGT: The Champions in 2019. According to this wiki, one of the dancers, Julia, needed an expensive operation to fix her scoliosis. Simon Cowell paid for it, and afterward, she was able to dance again.

Simon Cowell loves him some Preacher Lawson! AGT: Fantasy League will be the fourth time the comedian has competed in a Got Talent franchise series. He finished as a finalist on America’s Got Talent season 12 in 2017, and in fifth place on AGT: The Champions in 2019. Next, he traveled across the pond to compete on BGT: The Champions where he also finished as a finalist. One more time and maybe he’ll win it!

Wes-P competed on America’s Got Talent season 13 in 2018, and didn’t make it past the Auditions. His thing is stripping nearly naked before performing silly stunts. Howie was the act’s only yes when he auditioned. Why is he back and on Simon Cowell’s team? Likely because he’s got 12.3M followers and 339.5M likes on Tik Tok. At least NBC might get a viral Youtube video out of the deal.
