More Adele! The record breaking album seller was on Today Thursday, debuting yet ANOTHER new song from her hit album, 25. The tune, “Million Years Ago,” another mournful melody about heartbreak and regret, sounds like the kind of song that would have been wafting out of the speakers of a stereo console back in the sixties.

The singer described the song’s touching backstory, “There used to be this park in South London that me and my friends used to go to all of the time,” she said, “We’d just hang out, and chat about everything, big things and small things…I drove past it…and I just burst into tears because none of us were there…none of us could be there because we all have lives.”

In an interview before the performance, Adele shared with Today’s Matt Lauer, about the “beautiful” reaction from the morning talk show’s crowd to her new record. She’s worried about the fans outside. “They must be so cold!” She said that her son, Angelo, keeps her grounded.

Bonus Video: When Adele visited the Tonight Show earlier this week, she recorded an epic version of her hit song “Hello” performed on classroom instruments, with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.
