Listen to Adam Lambert’s cover of Noel Coward’s “Mad About the Boy” the theme song for the recently announced documentary Mad About The Boy – The Noël Coward Story. The doc is due out in 2023 to mark the 50th anniversary of Coward’s death.
The song is the first single from the American Idol season 8’s new record deal with EastWest Records, and Warner Music UK imprint.
Adam said in a press statement: “Working alongside the team at Warner Music UK, I’m excited to embark on this next stage of my career. I’ve been working on some great new music which I can’t wait for my fans to hear. I’m also looking forward to sharing my cover of the great Noël Coward’s ‘Mad About The Boy’ – it’s an honor to be able to put my own spin on such a classic song.”

Mad About the Boy — The Noël Coward Story is a feature documentary about the life of Noël Coward from Barnaby Thompson. The documentary is described as an exploration of Coward’s expansive career which features credits across the stage and screen, including Brief Encounter, Blithe Spirit, and Private Lives.
Adam is about to embark on his west coast “The Witch Hunt” tour,” including a four day residency at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. The tour begins on October 19 ar the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, California and ends October 30 at the Palladium in Los Angeles. Get tickets HERE.
