  1. Great story, nice PR for Adam and DonorChoose.Org. My sister and brother are teachers and organizations like this one, that provide aid to teachers across the U.S, are helping thousands of children. Do anyone know how Adam got involved with this organization?

  2. I wish this charity received more publicity. We just found out that our elementary schools are eliminating music all together due to budget cuts. Perhaps if we had donors such as these good folks, we could purchase the necessary supplies via charity and puts district $$ towards teacher salaries.

  3. Excellent work Adam. what a wonderful charity, I’m so glad Adam introduced it to me. I have given a few times now and I’m sure it won’t be the last time.

  4. As a middle school teacher myself, I couldn’t be any more proud of Adam. I just forwarded this CNN video to several of my co-workers. They are not Adam fans, but I am hoping this video will make them rethink their less than positive attitudes.
That is my ‘master plan’! :)

  5. dcglam…I too have forwarded this video to a couple of my Adam-disliker co-workers. They did not believe me when I told them his involvement with ANY charity! This is the stuff that should go viral…not that other crap which I don’t believe anyway. I have also donated a couple of times. I check it for something in my area about once a month. I will keep on giving here. And thank you to all the DonorsChoose people who started this organization with Adam. You are doing a terrific job!

  6. Awww that’s cool!

Although, I’m still green with envy and soooo jellus!!
It doesn’t help there’s fantasy springs tonight and I’m not going but whatever :)

  7. This was excellent and decent reporting. There is going to be a lot of dodgy journalism around Adam’s trip to the UK next month. ONe notoriously awful tabloid–the (Made up) News of the World–has already released the ” [sic] some drugs are fun” comment and I cannot wait for that gate [rolls eyes]. LOL

I have already seen one article about Adam’s comments to News of the World, so here we go with the latest Adam “gate”. We might get some more gates with the big concert at Fantasy Springs tonight. I figure Adam will say something or do something on the stage that will stir the pot and get people talking.

  9. I am really becoming numb to the – gates! LOL! I really don’t care what upsets people anymore about him.. He is a big boy. He will learn to handle the constant spotlight. I just want him to do well musically.

  10. I know this is shallow, but Adam looks very nice in that picture. I find him cute when he doesn’t wear all the makeup and put his hair in the “Elvis ” style.
