Legendary music executive Clive Davis held his annual Pre-Grammy Gala at the Beverly Hilton last night, featuring the usual array of music, film and pop culture stars. American Idol alum, Adam Lambert closed out the night of performances, which also featured songs from Carly Simon, Beck, Tori Kelly, Dave Grohl, Chicago and more. Barry Manilow performed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the soiree. The first ever Clive Davis party in 1976 celebrated Manilow’s hit “Mandy.”
Adam and Jack Antonoff (fun) performed “Let’s Dance” as a tribute to David Bowie. American Idol’s Rickey Minor led the band and fellow season 3 alum, Allison Iraheta sang backups.
Also attending the party: American Idol 6 winner Jordin Sparks, The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Christina Aguilera, and more.
Check out these photos from the party, plus a snip of Adam’s performance.
