Like I said, today is going to be a BIG FOX news day, with the network taking over the Television Critics Association press tour this afternoon. Here’s more stuff that’s both Glee, The Voice and American Idol related!
Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth to Host ‘American Country Awards’ Monday, December 5 on Fox. The new awards show debuted last year, and you might recall that Carrie Underwood swept the proceedings. I’m not completely clear on the eligibility requirements for ACM, but perhaps Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina will be eligible for nomination. Stay tuned! Read the Press Release HERE.
Also, an “all-star roster” of guest voices will appear on episodes of FOX’s Sunday night animation shows. Glee stars Darren Criss is set to lend his voice to The Cleveland Show, and Jane Lynch on The Simpsons. And The Voice judge Cee Lo Green will perform on the Family Guy musical episode, “Hot Water”.
Other guest stars include: Kiefer Sutherland, Jeremy Irons, Joan Rivers, Andy Garcia, Carl Reiner, Kanye West, Fergie, Phylicia Rashad, Florence Henderson, Will Arnett, Ryan Reynolds, Ricky Gervais, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Huston, Amy Sedaris and Kathy Griffin.
