Idols on the Country Music Awards
The Country Music Awards will be broadcast Monday November 6 at 8/7c pm on ABC. Carrie Underwood is nominated for 4 awards–Female Vocalist of the Year, Horizon Award, Single of the Year (for “Jesus Take the Wheel”) and Song of the Year (for “Jesus Take the Wheel”). Impressive! Good luck to Carrie, who has taken the country music world by storm since her Season 4 Idol win.
And for those who love them some Kellie-schtick, Kellie Pickler is slated to be a presenter and will co-host the red-carpet festivities with CMT hosts Katie Cook and Lance Smith. Her single, “Red High Heels” is doing well on the country charts. Her CD, “Small Town Girl” drops on October 31.
