Carrie Underwood is reportedly set to perform on the Grammys.
The American Idol season 4 winner’s appearance hasn’t been officially announced yet, but according to sources who watched the CBS coverage of the AFC championship football game on Sunday afternoon, a commercial aired that strongly suggested she and fellow country singer, Sam Hunt, would take the stage next to officially confirmed acts such as Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, The Weeknd, Adele, Bieber, and Pitbull.
Carrie is nominated for Best Country Solo performance for her single, “Little Toy Guns,” from her Greatest Hits: Decade #1 set. The singer also appeared on the Grammy Sinatra 100 special late last year.
The country star’s music has received 13 Grammy nominations and 7 wins since Carrie burst on to the music scene in 2005 after her win on American Idol, with 3 additional Grammys from 5 additional nominations going to songs that Carrie recorded.
The 2016 Grammy Awards are set to air on Monday February 15.
