A news station revealed a local American Idol contestant was flying out of town to Los Angeles, ostensibly for the Hollywood Rounds which begin this week. It’s a big spoiler for fans who know the Hollywood Round was filmed in November and December, and any contestant flying to Los Angeles this week has advanced to the Top 24. I’m not going to post a link to the story (and please don’t post it in comments) but there you have it.
Hundreds audition to be “The Voice” in Memphis – Casting director Michelle McNutley looks forward to the Memphis auditions and has just one piece of advice for the hopefuls. “Obviously, the voice is first and foremost,” McNultey said. “But then we also look for, you know, performance and somebody that really understands who they are as an artist.
