2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards Winners Include Gabby Barrett (Photos)

The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrated the biggest music hits across their radio stations on Thursday night (May 28). The event aired live on the FOX network and featured Usher as host. and best in music over the last year across genres. The big winners included  The WeekndLuke CombsTaylor Swift, and twenty one pilots.

American Idol season 18 alum Gabby Barrett received the Best New Country Artist of the year award. The singer was on hand to introduce “fellow labelmates” and Best Duo/Group of the Year recipient, Dan + Shay. This latest award is in addition to the three Billboard Music Awards she took home earlier in the week.

The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards also celebrated the fans, as iHeartRadio listeners got to decide winners in several new and established categories, including Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song, Best Music Video, the Social Star Award, Favorite Music Video Choreography Award and the first-ever TikTok Bop of the Year Award.

Additionally, the show also featured performances from The Weeknd with Ariana GrandeBruno Mars and Anderson .Paak (AKA Silk Sonic), Doja CatUsher and a special tribute to this year’s iHeartRadio Icon Award recipient, Elton John, from Demi LovatoBrandi Carlile and H.E.R.
