Malcolm Jamal Warner is driving Jimmy Kimmel to the Emmys in a spoof of the OJ chase. Then he gets picked up by the Dunfees. That doesn’t go well either, so he gets picked up by James Corden for some Carpool Karaoke. Then they do a little Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. Kimmel can’t really sing, so Corden kicks him out, before he gets picked up by Veep (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Jeb Bush is driving her. It’s a fun cameo. Jeb says “are you nominated? what’s that like?” It’s a fun cameo. Jimmy prays to Heavenly Oprah for a new ride to the Emmys, and gets picked up by Khaleesi on her Dragon. The Dragon burns Ryan Seacrest, and Jimmy finally makes it to the stage.

Jimmy says this years nominees are the most diverse ever. “The Oscars are now telling people we’re one of their closest friends.” He has a few good Trump jokes. He tears into Marc Burnett for creating Trump. Jimmy calls out Maggie Smith for never coming to the Emmy’s. She’s “Downton Absent”. “She’s treating us like the People’s Choice Awards.”
