The MTV European Music Awards took place tonight in Milan Italy. MTV is airing the broadcast at 8 pm here in the states.
Check out the full list of winners below. Taylor Swift only won Best Song, despite being nominated in nine categories. For once she doesn’t sweep an awards show. She was not in attendance to pick up her award, as she’s touring in the United States.
One Direction won the Best Pop award. Tori Kelly lost the Best New Act award to Shawn Mendes. The singer performed a medley of “Should’ve Been Us”/”No Scrubs”/”Ready Or Not” and joined with pop opera singer, Andrea Bocelli to sing “Time To Say Goodbye”/ “Just Give Me A Reason.” Pharrell performed his current single “Freedom.” THR posted a recap.
