Phillip Phillip’s coronation single, “Home” bows at #2 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart this week with 278,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

It’s also the second-best digital sales week ever for any Idol contestant. Only original Idol, Kelly Clarkson’s 2009 song “My Life Would Suck Without You” had a higher sales when it debuted with 280,000 downloads!

UPDATED: Phillip Phillip’s Journey to the Idol Finale debuts on the Billboard chart at #11 with 24,000 copies sold. He pushes Haley and Kris down the chart.. Jessica Sanchez’s Journey to the Finale enters the chart at #126 with 4,000 sold.

Remember the Glee Christmas special? In Extraordinary Merry Christmas, official FOX episode stills promised a gift-giving scene between Kurt and Blaine. In the end, the entire scene was cut, reportedly for time. Glee producers have promised to include the scene on the Season 3 DVD due out in the fall.
